WWE Main Event Preview 9/30/14

Tuesday night means it’s time for WWE Main Event!

In one of the most shocking developments last night, Bo Dallas scored an upset victory over the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. Henry dominated most of the match, but a mistake coming off the ropes opened the door for Dallas to pick up the win following the patented running Bo-dog. Vintage Dallas!

Even through all Henry would have to do to reverse his fortunes is Bo-lieve, he instead attacked Bo backstage in a fit of rage. The two clash again tonight. Will Henry get his win back or will he finally give in and just Bo-lieve?

WWE Main Event Preview 9/23/14

It’s Tuesday and you know what that means: it’s time for another installment of WWE Main Event!

Dean Ambrose, hot off a whopping three-plus segment night on Raw last night, is set to be the special guest on MizTV. Back from shooting a movie, Ambrose has picked up right where he left off as the not-so-secret most over guy in the company. In his absence, Miz has stepped up his character game quite a bit as well, as he and his stunt double Damien Mizdow are one of the best things going in the WWE universe.

See these two guys go at it verbally (and probably physically) on MizTV on WWE Main Event tonight!

WWE Main Event Preview 9/2/14

It’s almost time for another installment of WWE Main Event! Tonight features the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler as the special guest on a Tuesday-night version of MizTV, hosted by the Miz.

Just last night the Miz pinned Ziggler in a tag match, after a distraction from Miz’s stunt double, Damien Sandow. Miz’s new-ish Hollywood personsa is getting him great heat, and working against a crowd favorite like Ziggler has done wonders for his role as midcard villain.

Be sure to tune in tonight, as there is no less than a 99% chance this edition of MizTV ends in fisticuffs!

WWE Main Event Preview 8/19/14

Tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event features a showdown in the desert! Behemoths collide as Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family takes on Big Show of Big Show & Mark Henry.

After getting beat down yet again by the Usos, Rowan and Luke Harper have been shuffled away from the tag team title picture and into a feud with friendly giants Big Show and Mark Henry. The teams have clashed over the past few weeks, and things could get interesting tonight now that Mark Henry has drawn Rusev into a side beef. Geez, I can’t remember the last time a wrestler had multiple feuds popping off at once.

Either way, this should be an entertaining slobberknocker!

WWE Main Event Preview 8/12/14

It’s time for another episode of WWE Main Event and this one’s got an honest-to-goodness title match!

WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso (collectively known as “The Usos”) have issued an open challenge for the tag team titles — an open challenge to be answered tonight! It’s a little surprising that the title match is happening tonight as opposed to this Sunday at SummerSlam, but perhaps this will set up some kind of rematch for this weekend?

Of course the drama with an open challenge is who will answer the call. Rybaxel looked poised to make a run at the belts, but after getting punked single-handedly by Roman Reigns last night on Raw, things suddenly don’t seem so rosy for the Big Guy and Curtis Axel. Luke Harper and Erik Rowan seem to have been shuffled away from the title picture, and the Goldust/Stardust combo never really got inserted. Perhaps one of the new semi-makeshift teams of Mark Henry/Big Show, Kofi Kingston/Big E, or Slator Gator gets a shot?

Due to the current state of the tag team division, there is some legitimate intrigue as to who the Usos will be face.
