Somebody call my momma! Chad Dukes was joined on his afternoon show Thursday by the only living Funkasaurus in captivity, Brodus Clay.

The master of the pterodactyl dance spent about 10 minutes chatting with “The Kid” about a number of topics in a great, revealing interview. Clay talks about his original character, the Funkasaurus gimmick, his dance ability, and his WrestleMania 28 appearance.

The highlight of the interview would have to be Brodus’ story of his WrestleMania dance performance. If you had any doubt that John Cena was a great dude, listen to the interview. The Funkasuaurs relates a great story about how Cena helped him get his WrestleMania moment this year.

This is definitely a must-listen interview from the man from Planet Funk. So stop reading my rambling and click play below. Also, check Clay out on WWE Over the Limit is this Sunday on Pay-Per-View!

The Chad Dukes WrestleMania Interviews

A little more than a week out from the boys’ trip to WrestleMania we thought we’d take the time to look back at the great interviews Dukes conducted this year at Axxess for 106.7 The Fan and the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show.

What would interviews at WrestleMania be without interviewing the Showstopper, the Headliner, Mr. WrestleMania himself…”the Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. The End of an Era Match’s Special Guest Referee talked with Chad Dukes about hunting with Steve Austin, walking away from the business, a possible return, Kevin Nash, and helping the young guys in the industry.

The Morning Roundup – 4/5/12

Good Morning, everyone.  By now, I’m assuming you now know that Brock Lesnar is back, and a member of Raw.

Lesnar Listed For Next PPV – PW Torch

According to PWTorch.com, Lesnar is now being billed as participating in Extreme Rules PPV in Chicago on April 29th.  This comes on the heels of him being added to the Raw roster.  Lesnar is contracted for two appearances a month for the next year.  Lesnar is obviously a huge get for WWE, and given how well Wrestlemania 28 did, somehow billing him AND The Rock next year would be even bigger.

Early Wrestlemania 28 Buyrate Said To Be Through The Roof – SEScoops

According to ESPN’s Gus Ramsey, WWE was targeting 1.5 million buys — which would shatter the previous record from Wrestlemania 26 at 1.25 million buys — however, the early indications are it blew away even WWE’s lofty expectations.  Ramsey tweeted “… Rock and Brock each sign 1 year deals. WM28 did 1.9M buys. WWE was targeting 1.5M.”  No two ways about this, that is huge.  On both accounts, Rock and Brock are back for another year, and WWE blew away their previous record.  Continue reading →

Daniel Bryan Addresses the Red-Hot Miami RAW Crowd

Daniel Bryan’s 18-second defeat at the hands of Sheamus in the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania was unexpected and disappointing. Many were expecting the ultimate outcome, but were hoping it would take a little longer for Sheamus to win the strap.

Last night’s rabid RAW crowd made their displeasure with the decision known all night. The “YES! YES! YES!” chant became infectious and was present throughout the evening, including a wonderful “Si! Si! Si!” chant for Alberto Del Rio. Sheamus, perhaps unfairly, was booed for his role in the squash win and Daniel Bryan’s name was chanted all night during the show.

Well, the live crowd got to hear from the former World Heavyweight Champion after taking the loss in the dark match main event of Sheamus, Randy Orton, & The Big Show versus Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Cody Rhodes. Check out the video after the jump.
