Samoa Joe made his WWE main roster debut ambushing Seth Rollins on behalf of Triple H to close out last night’s Raw. I guess now we know why he was held out of the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk Talks Next Fight – PW Insider

In an interview with Fox Sports during NHL All-Star Weekend, CM Punk was asked about his fighting future. According to Punk, he has pitched opponents to Dana White speculated that White was waiting for a show in Chicago, and said regardless he wants to fight again in UFC or elsewhere.

Zayn and Owens Honor Quebec – With Spandex

Playing into the heel persona he’s cultivated in the UFC, Conor McGregor has drawn the ire of another group of athletes this weekend: professional wrestlers.

During a media call for UFC 202, after being asked about if there was any interest in a future in the squared circle, McGregor spoke with harsh words.

“I have thought about it. For the most part, I think these guys are p*ssies, to be honest. They’re messed up p*ssies if you ask me. Fair play to Brock (Lesnar); he got in and fought, but at the end of the day, he was juiced up to the f*cking eyeballs. How can I respect that? The other guy (CM Punk) hasn’t fought yet, so I don’t know about him yet. There’s some Dons in that wrestling game. The McMahons are Dons. Triple H is a Don. The Rock is a Don. But the rest of them are p*ssies. I haven’t thought about that, to be honest. It’s a little more show business and this is the fight business.”

The UFC Featherweight Champion then doubled down on his comments on his Twitter.

Post-Smackdown Summer Slam Updates – WWE

John Cena vs AJ Styles and Apollo Crews vs The Miz have been added to the SummerSlam card following last night’s SmackDown Live. The former came about during a promo confrontation segment and the latter came after Apollo Crews won a triple threat match over Kalisto & Baron Corbin.

CM Punk Documentary to Air on Fox Sports 1 – With Spandex

In preparation for his UFC 203 debut, FS1 will air a UFC documentary chronicling Punk’s evolution from pro wrestler to pro mixed martial artist.

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Lords of Pain

Daniel Bryan confirmed on the “Bear Hug It Out” podcast, that SmackDown will indeed be introducing a Women’s Championship of its own in the future.
