Pull two tractor trailers behind you because you’re the World’s Strongest Man, THAT’S WHAT YOU DO, and it’s FRIDAY!!!

Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown from Wichita, KS just two days before Extreme Rules, the WWE Superstars get their last licks in on each other before going to the EXTREME (TM Paul Heyman)! This year’s card has a lot to live up to once you consider the amazing show that occured at last year’s Extreme Rules. Let’s see if they can top it.

Monday Night RAW Preview – 3/25/13

With no offense to Y2J, this was the highlight of my night.

I can’t help but notice so many people are down on this guy – and, well, taking all the bait WWE is clearly laying out to build heat on the most talented man yet to debut on the main roster.

Coincidentally enough, if Fandango and Big E. Langston can avoid having a scheduled match for the next two weeks, they will tie one another for being the first Superstars ever to debut on the main roster on the Wrestlemania card. Yeah. Stats. Know about ‘em.

Alright, so where were we…

Ah, the ever windy road the Wrestlemania 29. Here is what we have tonight:

  • Dolph Ziggler and Big E. will challenge for the Tag Titles against Kane and DB – buuuuuut what can that hellion AJ Lee do to throw Team Hell No off there game?
  • Alberto Del Rio is going to be looking to settle ALL the scores with Jack Swagger after he incapacitated Ricardo Rodriguez last week.
  • Will Randy Orton and Sheamus accept Big Show as their teammate against Shield at WM?
  • Chris Jericho and the Miz are still pursuing Randy Ortons IC title.
  • CM Punk has reaaaalllly irked the Deadman. It seems he may be trying to play head game with the Undertaker to force a mistake that could result in a DQ win and culmination of the streak.
  • Triple H and Brock Lesnar are booked, going no DQ – no holds barred. Expect recap and discussion.
  • And the Rock has (finally) arrived in Philly for tonights RAW and will be confronting John Cena with a heated… I don’t know. They’ll posture around for a bit, but have a lot of work to do to explain why they are the main event.

All this and, well, yeah much much more. So much to do – in so much time.

This is a great debut. I could go with this guy teasing the audience for weeks. I don’t care how old school his gimmick is. Give him a perfume bottle to spray in people’s faces for all I care. He’s going to conquer the squared circle, the same way he conquered the world of dance.

Wrestlemania is but a few short weeks away – we’ve confirmed four matches thus far.

  • The Rock (c) vs. John Cena for WWE Championship
  • Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • The Undertaker vs. CM Punk
  • The Shield vs. Sheamus, Randy Orton, & Ryback

There is still a lot to be decided! On tonight’s show:

  • Triple H will confront Brock Lesnar and their Wrestlemania match will be confirmed
  • There will be a Triple Threat Match for the IC title with Wade Barret (c), Chris Jericho, and the Miz.
  • And you know, the rest of the undercard will probably do something.

I’m hoping for some huge swerves and proverbial wrenches to be thrown in the dastardly of plans!

The Shield Strikes The Show: Is this a WrestleMania Match in the Making?

Punk/Undertaker and Lesnar/HHH may not be the only WrestleMania matches coming out of last night’s Raw Goes Old School event.

Following last night’s Raw, the above footage aired of the post-Raw proceedings on in the WWE Active portion of the WWE App. The Big Show in the ring following the show-closing Fatal Four-Way Main Event was surrounded and attacked by the Shield. The most impressive thing about the attack isn’t actually in the video. The boys in black manage to execute their triple powerbom on the Big Show.

Photos after the jump.

Monday Night RAW Preview – 1/28/13

Lets get right into it. The Rumble Match NEVER disappoints. Some are better than others, fine. I will begrudgingly let you have that. But it’s the most exciting 60+ minutes of continuous Sports Entertainment we get all year. THE BEST!

For the last three years there has been a little running joke that Papa Shango would return during the Rumble. Wade Barrett of often was at the forefront, CM Punk was eager to needle.

I mean, I did not see it coming whatsoever. In fact; kudos WWE. You got us all each time. There were no extreme old-timers like Tatanka or Bob Backlund, but we all were swerved with Chris Jericho and Goldust. Not to mention, Dustin got to go RIGHT at Cody. Yes, I know it’s 1000% kayfabe and they’re very supportive of one another behind the curtain; BUT they told an amazing story. The mockery and imitations going back and forth was priceless (see what I did there?).

Oh yeah, RAW is tonight…
