Owens Versus Lesnar – Cageside Seats

WWE held a SmackDown live event in Madison Square Garden featuring some special surprises like NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, John Cena, and a “special attraction match”: Raw’s Brock Lesnar versus Raw’s Kevin Owens. A Twitter user has posted a bit of video from the match at the link above.

ROH 15th Anniversary Results – Wrestling Observer

Ring of Honor held its 15th Anniversary pay-per-view Friday Night in Las Vegas featuring The Broken Hardys versus The Young Bucks & Roppongi Vice and Adam Cole defending the ROH Championship against Christopher Daniels. Check out the results above!

Impact Goes After Hardys – Pro Wrestling Sheet

Speaking of the Hardys, the reason they did not directly reference their broken brilliance on the ROH PPV was due to a cease and desist from Anthem, new owners of Impact Wrestling. Anthem apparently doesn’t want to stop them from being #Broken, they just want a cut of the proceeds, because Jeremy Borash, Dave Lagana, & Billy Corgan had a hand in the gimmick’s creation. Fun fact: only one of those names is actually still with Anthem.

UK Championship Live – WWE

And finally, WWE announced a show featuring the talent from its UK Championship Tournament and 205 Live coming to Norwich, England on May 7th.  No word on if this event will be televised on the WWE Network, like the UK Tournament.

Hardys to ROH, Defeat The Bucks of Youth – Pro Wrestling Sheet

The Broken Hardys made a surprise appearance ahead of their match with the Young Bucks at Supercard of Honor in Florida next month, to issue an impromptu challenge for the ROH Tag Team Championships.  After vanquishing the Bucks, Broken Matt told the live crowd he and Brother Nero had signed a deal with Ring of Honor.

Bully Ray Shows Up At ROH Too! – Cageside Seats

The Hardys weren’t the only name to show up at Saurday’s Manhattan Mayhem. Bully Ray showed up to rescue Bobby Fish and put ROH World Champion Adam Cole through a table before addressing the live crowd and telling CEO Joe Koff, “I am Bully Ray and as of right now, I am in Ring of Honor.”
