Matt Anoa’i Passes – WWE

Matt Anoa’i, better known to WWE audiences as Rosey of Three Minute Warning, the older brother of Roman Reigns, passed away at the age of 47. CDW extends its condolences to the Anoa’i family and friends.

Broken Hardys Update – Cageside Seats

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the Hardys are still attempting to clear up the legal issues between themselves and Anthem/Impact Wrestling so the “Broken” gimmick can be used on WWE television. According to Meltzer, WWE realizes the Attitude Era act the brothers are currently running has a limited shelf life and there’s more money to be made with stories and merchandise with the brothers being #Broken.

Impact/AAA Partnership – Pro Wrestling Sheet

Mexico’s AAA and Impact Wrestling announced more details on their new partnership yesterday. First, they will be launching a co-branded live tour in the fall, AAA will help Impact with television clearances in Latin and South America, and Anthem, Impact’s parent company will help AAA expand using the Fight Network platform. Additionally, AAA talents will be at Impact’s Slammiversary and Impact talents will be at AAA’s Triple Mania.

Bennett & Kanellis – With Spandex

Speaking of Impact, two former talents are reportedly heading to WWE. Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis have reportedly signed with the company and will be headed to SmackDown. The Miz & Maryse heading to Raw is starting to make a little more sense, can’t have two heel power couples on one show.
