Orton/Wyatt – WWE

In the first SmackDown on the Road to WrestleMania, Randy Orton bent the knee to the Eater of Worlds, pledging fealty, and refusing to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. A Battle Royal will be held next week to seemingly choose a new opponent for Wyatt. It’s an interesting wrinkle, but somehow, I still think the Viper faces Wyatt in Orlando.

Lesnar Retires from MMA – Cageside Seats

While there’s been no official announcement, a UFC spokesperson confirmed to MMA that Lesnar will not be returning to the UFC after his USADA suspension for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs prior to his UFC 200 fight.

Emmalina Update – Pro Wrestling Sheet

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that the unveiling of Emmalina and the scuttling of the Emmalina character in the same segment on Raw was a result of WWE producers pulling the plug on the character after multiple rehearsals left the producers unsatisfied Emma was pulling the act off correctly.
