Broken Hardys Leaving TNA – Pro Wrestling Sheet
In a story first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, Broken Matt and Brother Nero will not be re-signing with Impact Wrestling. The brothers reportedly felt disrespected after agreeing to terms in December but never receiving their final offer and being denied creative control over their characters. After Jeff made the decision to not re-sign, the company offered Matt a 2-year deal with a clause giving TNA 10% of his non-Impact bookings. To further complicate matters, TNA may challenge Hardy’s ability to use the Broken Matt gimmick elsewhere. To his credit, Matt has been nothing but gracious towards the company in public, releasing a statement via Twitter thanking TNA and wishing them the best.
Fast Lane Card – WWE
Sunday’s Fast Lane card is now set with three new matches added on last night’s Raw: Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn, Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks, and Akira Tozawa & Rich Swann vs. The Brian Kendrick & Noam Dar.
Glamazon to HOF – FTW
Beth Phoenix is the latest addition to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Four-time Divas/Women’s Champion and 2nd female to compete in the Royal Rumble, Phoenix retired from WWE in 2012 and married fellow Hall of Famer Edge in 2016.
Owens Attacks Jericho in Germany – Fox Sports
Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance during the WWE’s tour this weekend in Germany but soon found himself on the receiving end of another vicious attack from WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.
Drew Galloway Departs TNA – With Spandex
Drew Galloway announced his departure from TNA via Twitter this weekend. No word on if this means anything as far as a return to WWE as Drew McIntyre, but Galloway is a big name on the independent scene and will be a part of the crowning of the WWNLive Champion on WrestleMania weekend.
Heyman Responds to Criticism – Cageside Seats
Paul Heyman responded to criticism from former ECW wrestler C.W. Anderson that Heyman was more focused on filming Rollerball than saving the original ECW back in 2000. Heyman cleared up the timeline of events, refute Anderson’s claims and share a couple interesting Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar interactions.

WWE aired a promo video during last night’s 205 Live hyping Austin Aries joining the cruiserweight division. Aries has been doing commentary for the cruiserweights after an orbital bone fracture sidelined him last year.
