Broken Hardys Leaving TNA – Pro Wrestling Sheet

In a story first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, Broken Matt and Brother Nero will not be re-signing with Impact Wrestling. The brothers reportedly felt disrespected after agreeing to terms in December but never receiving their final offer and being denied creative control over their characters. After Jeff made the decision to not re-sign, the company offered Matt a 2-year deal with a clause giving TNA 10% of his non-Impact bookings. To further complicate matters, TNA may challenge Hardy’s ability to use the Broken Matt gimmick elsewhere. To his credit, Matt has been nothing but gracious towards the company in public, releasing a statement via Twitter thanking TNA and wishing them the best.
