Too Sweet Me, it’s time for a jumbo sized Chad Dukes Wrestling Show bay bay!

Clocking in at a cool hour and twenty minutes, this week ROH’s Adam Cole joins the show to discuss the Bullet Club, Ring of Honor, Cody Rhodes’ list, and more with Dukes.  Then, Goat and Thom join The Big Shooter to discuss CM Punk, Vader vs. Will Ospreay, and if Roman Reigns will still be in the main event at WWE Battleground.

CM Punk was on a media tour yesterday promoting his fight at UFC 203 which means the dirt sheets are full of quotes from the rookie UFC fighter.

Punk Talks Return To Wrestling & Bryan’s Retirement – Wrestlezone

First up on ESPN Radio’s Rusillo & Kanell Show, Punk said he doesn’t think he’d ever return to wrestling but it was a “never say never thing.”  If he did return he says it wouldn’t be on a televised promotion.

Punk Optimistic About Championship Chances – MMA Fighting

Next up on Fox Sports 1’s Colin Cowherd, Punk was optimistic about his fight and his chances at a UFC title shot if he can “put three or four wins together.”

Punk on WWE Superstars’ Treatment – Fox Sports

Also on Cowherd’s show, Punk continued to rail against his former employer for treating its talents like “indentured servants.”

Punk Called Brock Lesnar for Advice – With Spandex

And finally on Peter Rosenberg’s show, Punk talked about being the underdog to Mickey Gall and also revealed he called Brock Lesnar for advice on his UFC debut.

WWE Drops “Balor Club” Trademark – PW Insider

WWE has abandoned their registration of the trademark “Balor Club” last week.  The name was speculated to be used for Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows when they were signed but then AJ Styles joined WWE and the trio became simply “The Club.”

New Japan G1 Climax Tournament Participants – Wrestling Observer

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the participants in this year’s G1 Climax, the round robin tournament in which the winner receives an IWGP Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom in January. Block A consists of Togi Makabe, Satoshi Kojima, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto, Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga, Seiya Sanada, Naomichi Marufuji, Kazuchika Okada, and Hiroshi Tanahashi.  Block B consists of Katsuyori Shibata, Yuji Nagata, Tomoaki Honma, Michael Elgin, Toru Yano, Tetsuya Naito, Evil, Kenny Omega, Yoshi-Hashi, Katsuhiko Nakajima.

First 4 Battle of Los Angeles Entrants – PWG

The first four participants in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament have been announced.  Cody Rhodes was the first announced name and he will be joined by NJPW’s Kamaitachi, Jeff Cobb (aka Lucha Underground’s Mantaza Cueto), and Mark Haskins.

The first Cruiserweight Classic taping took place last Thursday, without spoiling match results, Lords of Pain has a look at the first round match ups that should give a better idea of the official brackets which will be unveiled on the WWE Network in a special July 6th.

Hoping to capitalize on the Vader/Will Ospreay-Ricochet controversy, Rev Pro in the UK has booked the Mastodon in a match against the winner of the Best of the Super Juniors on August 12th.

ROH Best in the World Card – Ring of Honor

Tonight on PPV at 9PM ET, Ring of Honor presents Best In The World. Jay Briscoe finally gets his rematch for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship against Jay Lethal, Dalton Castle challenges Bobby Fish for the ROH World Television Championship, and BJ Whitmer & Steve Corino do battle in a Fight Without Honor.

Roderick Strong Departs ROH – Ring of Honor

Speaking of ROH, in a story I missed, Roderick Strong has announced he is leaving Ring of Honor for the time being to pursue other opportunities.

WWE/Loot Crate Partnership – WWE

WWE is partnering with Loot Crate for a bimonthly subscription service for “WWE collectibles, apparel and home goods.” ‘

Cruiserweight Classic Change – With Spandex

Brazillian wrestler Zumbi is out of the CWC after being double booked for a tournament in Mexico.  He will be replaced by Pakistani wrestler Mustafa Ali.
