Nikki Bella Having “Career-Threatening” Neck Surgery – Pro Wrestling Sheet

Nikki Bella told E! News that she will be undergoing a 2-hour bone fusion surgery in her neck this week and while she hopes to return, it could be career-threatening.  She does say even if she can’t wrestle she’d like to stay around WWE as an ambassador or maybe a Raw/Smackdown GM.

Lucha Underground Producer Claims WWE Raid – Cageside Seats

Lucha Underground producer Chris DeJoseph, formerly known as Big Dick Johnson in WWE, lobbed allegations that WWE tried to shut them down by signing all of their talent and sticking them in NXT.  I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.  There’s been reported interest in LU talents like Prince Puma, they did sign Alberto Del Rio from the company, and they wanted to pay Rey Mysterio to not wrestle, but I don’t think they tried to hire the entire roster.

ROH to New Japan World – PWInsider

The Ring of Honor-New Japan relationship just got a little stronger.  ROH’s Honor Rising events in Tokyo, Japan on 2/19 & 2/20 will air live on New Japan’s NJPW World service.
