Hey! Something non-Hulk Hogan related for your eyes this afternoon.
Just weeks after rejoining the company on the July 15th edition of Impact as the new Authority figure, rumors are circulating that Bully Ray has once again left TNA Wrestling.
PWInsider is reporting that despite living in Orlando, Bully Ray wasn’t brought in for the current set of tapings and told the company he wasn’t happy with the state of TNA, feeling “it was better to distance himself” from the company. Bully Ray reemerged in TNA on the May 8th episode to be the special guest referee in a match between Kurt Angle & Eric Young and returned to storylines two weeks ago as the new “law” on Impact.
As expected, there’s been no confirmation from either side publicly to this rumor. Bully Ray missing the Wednesday and Thursday tapings isn’t a definitive proof of his departure since these two nights of tapings have been reportedly for Xplosion and their “One Night Only” pay-per-view series. If Bully is mysteriously gone for the Impact broadcasts during this 8-night run, then we’ll have our answer on his TNA status.
