Believe it or not, the 29th Showcase of the Immortals is but 16 days from now. Tonight: Three domineering personalities try to coexist prior to their showdown against one cohesive three-headed enemy. Also, JBL makes his return to the commentary desk for the blue brand. As the Wrestling God is wont to say: We Fight on Friday Nights.
The Viper, The Warrior, and The Giant
Sheamus is 0-2 against the Shield in six-man tag matches. At the Elimination Chamber, the “dream team” of the Celtic Warrior, John Cena and Ryback lost to the hounds of justice. Ditto for Sheamus, Ryback, and Y2J the following night. Now the Great White has two new partners, in Orton and the Big Show.
The Big Show seems primed to once again flip-flop over the heel/face line, but that doesn’t mean these three will break out the niceties. There’s still history of bad blood, hurt feelings, and rude exchanges that need to be overcome, but the Big Three will have ample opportunity on tonight’s show. First they’ll do the talk-show thing on MizTV, and, per WWE.com, we’ll see them later on in a six-man tag.
Also On The Show
In a rematch of last week’s main event, Chris Jericho will again wrestle Jack Swagger.
Additionally, we’ll see the likes of Mark Henry, the Miz, The Rhodes Scholars, Brodus & Sweet T and more.
