The Morning Roundup – 3/15/2013

Ultimo-Dragon-J-Crown

Welcome to another edition of “The. Morning. News. Roundup.”  I am your host and star of it all, Sammy Dreamer.  As you are well aware, today is Friday!  I could not be happier, as we are just about to start the weekend.  Lets get to it.  Here we go!

TNA Wrestling - Homepage

I send you here not as a newslink but more of a research tool for you.  For the first time in a few weeks (maybe months) I watched a full episode of Impact last night.  Not only was there a lot of intrigue going on after Lockdown, but they were also on the road and live in Chicago.  I was excited to tune in to see if there was a crowd big enough in Chicago to fill the seats, or if the bad crowds in Florida, were an accurate reprenstation of the TNA fanbase.  Chicago showed up last night.  TNA put on a great show and I have to say I enjoyed it.  It did falter with some things, such as the Robbie E dance segment, but was overall very good.  I worry TNA may falter when they go on the road to some of the smaller towns they booked, but think it is generally a good move.  So hope over to their website, read up on whats going on, and check it out next week.  We here at CDWS like to promote more than just WWE.

Maddox Takes Blame - LOP

I actually missed this segment on Monday.  For whatever reason, I thankfully, did not see it.  Apparently, the whole thing was botched and came off bad in-ring and then buried by Cole on the call.  Not to many people’s surprise, someone had to be blamed.  Enter Brad Maddox.  Hopefully this isn’t all she wrote for him, he has potential.

  1. Louis Tully says:

EVERYONE is overreacting about the Highlight Reel segment. It was perfectly fine, Cole and King were burying it on commentary from the jump for some reason. Maddox’s character is that he’s creepy and awkward, so he did his job fine too.
