“Please leave the ring, VINCE!”-Paul Heyman
Just before Mr McMahon was set to fire Paul Heyman to conclude last night’s Raw Roulette show, BRRRRRRRROCK LESNARRRRRR, returned to F5 the chairman of the board and make his return to WWE, just in time for WrestleMania.
Now, WWE.com is running video of Vince being attended to and stretchered out after the cameras went off and reporting that McMahon suffered a “broken pelvis” at the hands of Lesnar. Here’s hoping this injury doesn’t hinder McMahon’s trademark strut.
Where do we go from here? Let’s discuss after the jump.
I see this going one of three ways:
- A rematch with McMahon’s son-in-law, Triple H at WrestleMania.
- Vince recruits the Undertaker to take Lesnar out at WrestleMania.
- Lesnar’s actions definitively cause Heyman’s ousting from WWE, angering former champion & Heyman Guy, CM Punk. Punk vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania
Let’s tackle the most likely scenario, #1. This past August at SummerSlam, Lesnar defeated Triple H and promptly “quit” the following night claiming he had nothing more to prove in WWE. Triple H last left his career in limbo, unsure of his in-ring future following the defeat to Lesnar. If anyone was to spring from the sidelines to defend “Pop’s” honor the Game seems like a likely candidate. My downside to this matchup, if Lesnar has already declared himself the new King of Kings, what’s in it for him in a Triple H rematch? One thing, it’s gonna be real WEIRD seeing Triple H wrestle with the short ‘do.
Scenario, #2 The Undertaker. While Lesnar left claiming no more mountains to conquer, there is one…the Streak. It would be a match almost two years in the making and one with a ton of back story with the two men’s past history. I can picture Vince in a wheel chair with his broken pelvis, issuing the challenge for Lesnar to face, “THE UNDERRRRTAKERRRRRR!”
And then there’s probably the least likely path, at least for WrestleMania: a Lesnar-Punk beef. After being screwed by swindlers, Punk is clearly in a bad mood. Should Heyman be ousted from WWE storylines will the Best in the World blame Brock? Or could Punk become jealous of the closer Lesnar-Heyman relationship, wanting to be Heyman’s sole focus? There are a number of ways they could get to a Punk-Brock showdown and the best part for me is the feud seems on the surface to be a less predictable thing.
What do you think the future holds for Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon headed to WrestleMania?

I think it’s scenario 2. Taker will take on Punk or Lesner. Now punk would be great but I think WE wants a larger than life adversary for the deadman. This makes Lesner the more likely opponent.
What about a Team Heyman (Lesnar, Punk, The Shield and Maddox) vs Team McMahon (Trips, and a few more current roster guys)?
I’m not sure if it would sully The Streak to do so, but what about Triple H & The Undertaker vs. Punk and Lesnar? Maybe throw in McMahon and Heyman on each side.
Hmm, wondering if we may head one of these ways you guys suggested with news coming out today Taker isn’t fully decided on if he’s wrestling this year at Mania. Need something for Punk to do on the show that’s big.
