IMPACT WRESTLING PREVIEW 3/22/12

They say the road to Lockdown starts tonight, however, I would have to disagree since James Storm won a #1 contenders match weeks ago for a shot at Bobby Roode at Lockdown.  Storm and Roode were both victorious at Victory Road but Storm was noticeably absent at the end of the PPV when Roode beat down Sting and assaulted Dixie Carter.  Would it have made too much sense for Storm to help out the Stinger and the owner of the company?  Maybe we’ll get some answers tonight.

Samoa Joe and Magnus also got the win at Victory Road, but there will be no rest for the Tag Team Champs because tonight they have to square off against LAX and the belts will be on the line.

The ladies of LAX will also get a shot at some gold, when Rosita and Sarita face the inter-gender Knockout Tag Team Champions.  I would expect some wackiness from Eric Young and you know he will end up in a suggestive position with one of the challengers.

Also on tap for tonight will be a Four Corner Elimination match for the X-Divisoin title.  Austin Aries beat Zema Ion at Victory Road, but Ion will get another shot tonight.  Unfortunately for him he isn’t just dealing with A Double as Kid Kash and Anthony Nese will also be in the mix.  Four X-Division guys in the ring, sign me up cause you just know you’ll get a holy sh*t moment at some point.

That’s a couple good matches to look forward to plus the team of Magnus and Matt Morgan exploded at Victory Road, so expect that feud to kick into high gear tonight.
